Scouts, Guides and other uniformed youth organisations

Belchamps Scout Activity Centre is open to Scouts, Guides and all uniformed youth organisations, such as Boys Brigade, Girls Brigade, ATC, St Johns, Woodcraft Folk, Army Cadets etc.

The Centre is co-owned by 4 surrounding districts - Castle Point, Crouch Valley, Southend West and Southend Estuary. As the owners, groups from these 4 Scout districts enjoy discounted pricing. Please visit the owner district price list if you are a Scout group in these 4 districts.

We regularly have visits from Boys and Girls brigade, St Johns, ATC, Woodcraft groups, and other uniformed youth groups.  For any non-uniformed youth groups please visit the youth charity pages.

How to book 

To book, please call or email us to request a provisional booking. You can then confirm with a completed booking form and appropriate deposit. Payment can be made by debit/credit card over the phone (up to £150), cheque or cash. Provisional bookings are held for 4 weeks and should be confirmed within this time by sending the appropriate deposit. All cheque's should be made payable to “Belchamps”. Please include SAE if a receipt is required.

Our shop and reception are open 9am to 7pm Monday - Thursday and Saturday, 9am - 8pm Friday and 9am - 5pm Sunday.
