Hi Nigel,

I hope everything is going well at Belchamps, hope you're all well.

Firstly, I would just like to thank you for my placement. Now I've had some time away I have realised just how much it helped me develop as a person and more specifically as an instructor. Having compared my experience to many of my fellow students it has become apparent how diverse and useful the placement was for my future goals, and in providing an understanding of how a centre (or business in general) actually operates.

As opposed to a compartmentalised approach that is present in many other organisations, having the opportunity to help with all aspects of the company resulted in a far more fulfilling experience from my point of view.

I would also like to thank you, Lorraine and Dan for the extra months' work in August. I may not have been able to show my gratitude adequately at the time but it has been a great boost to my confidence in the profession and life in general.

Guest Services Assistant

Catering assistants

Ad hoc hours through May, June and July potential for this to continue through the autumn and winter, but not as many hours.

Catering assistants to cook and serve meals for up to 150 children. Various shifts and hours to cover Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Good basic cooking skills required, a willingness to follow recipes and instructions, and ability to serve the food in a profesional manner.

Catering Manager

Up to £15,000 pro rata 4 month contract. To manage all catering requirements. Starting mid March you will oversee the ordering and service of meals for residential bookings, one off catering requirements, staff lunches and other catering requirements.

Catering Supervisor

£6.20 to £8.50 per hour depending on experience. 

To supervise the cooking, staffing and food ordering in our busy cafeteria.  Serving up to 200 meals per sitting on some days. Fixed term contract to start immediately through to end of August. Hours to vary depending on bookings. You will need to be able to cover various shifts including early breakfasts, lunches or evening dinner. Some weekend work required. This is an exciting new role, to develop and take our cafeteria to a new level.  Possibility for the contract to be extended for the right person.
