Why volunteer?
Many of our full time staff begun their careers at Belchamps as volunteers and then applied for full time positions as they arose. Michael began as a volunteer, treking over from Dunstable District in Bedfordshire to help out with fireworks and other events. Jamie lived here for a summer as volunteer when he first moved to the area, Paul Daniels volunteered at weekends for a number of years, and even Nigel used to volunteer at his local Campsite, Longrove in Bedfordshire. They all still volunteer many hours above and beyond what they get paid for, its what Scouting is all about. We do it because its fun and we enjoy it! Want to become a volunteer? call 01702562690 or e-mail centremanager@belchamps.co.uk
